Summer is coming, and also it is the time to change up your fragrances. We prefer lighter, fresher scents for this hot season, but it is depending on what you like, there’s plenty to choose from.
We personally can’t make up our minds between Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose, new versions of timeless classics like Guerlain Eau de Shalimar Edition Charms and Diorissimo, and the fresh citrusy notes of Prada’s Infusion de Tuberuse and Balanciaga Paris’ heady concoction.
For Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose, which is a refreshing version of the original Flowerbomb scent. La Vie en Rose is a sophisticated floral scent with notes of tangerine, fressia, rose and lily of the valley with a base of amber and patchouli and pink pepper giving it a bit of spiciness.
Guerlain Eau de Shalimar Edition Charms is an oriental floral fragrance with top notes of citruses like mandarin orange, cedar, bergamot and lemon. A complex scent with middle notes contains iris, patchouli, jasmine and rose set against base notes of leather and sandalwood.
Prada Infusion de Tuberuse is a crisp green floral scent with woodsy tuberose and hints of orange and leafy green undertones.
I love Dior. And the Diorissimo Eau de Parfum is a lighter version of the white floral and leafy green scent with lily of the valley, top notes of bergamot and calyx anda base of sandalwood. This is one of the most elegant timeless classic as they come.
At last, the Balanciaga Paris is flora chypre, soft violet over woody musky base with notes of bergamot, vertiver and patchouli.
